Welcome to the Golden Triangle Human Resources Association (GTHRA)

We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). SHRM's mission is as follows:

Mission

SHRM is a global HR professional organization that exists to:

• Build and sustain partnerships with human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions to address people management challenges that influence the effectiveness and sustainability of their organizations and communities.
• Provide a community for human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions to share expertise and create innovative solutions on people management issues.
• Proactively provide thought leadership, education and research to human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions.
• Serve as an advocate to ensure that policy makers, law makers and regulators are aware of key people concerns facing organizations and the human resource profession.

The Golden Triangle Human Resources Association (GTHRA) is here to support and further SHRM's mission. Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local source for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.

We serve not only human resource professionals, but also other business leaders in all things HR, because we realize not all companies have an HR person, per se. We understand that within small businesses, people wear many hats. While there may not be an employee at your organization with HR in their title, someone is functioning in that role. We are here to help!
